This modernised remake of Man Utd’s home kit from their first season in the Premier League looks rather sick
1992 was a glorious year in Manchester United’s storied history. It was the inaugural season of the newly formed Premier League and was marked by the Red Devils emerging winners by a 10-point margin, ending a 26-year run without an English title in the process.
The triumph also kick-started a golden period in United’s history under their longest serving manager Sir Alex Ferguson. The club went on to win a total of 38 trophies under Ferguson, which included 13 Premier League titles, 5 FA cups and 2 UEFA Champions League titles.
With United’s fortunes dwindling ever since the retirement of their legendary manager, a graphic designer on Twitter decided to give the club faithfuls a trip down memory lane by uploading a modernised remake of their team’s home kit from the iconic first Premier League season.
The design looks rather slick and is being much appreciated by the United fans online.
